I have also read on this page and on several other websites that the only known solution seems to be a new clean installation of Windows 10 and then reinstall the Adobe CC apps. I have to use Photoshop CS6 until there is a fix for CC 2018. So I installed Photoshop CS6, and that version is in fact working properly. Today I first installed Photoshop CC 2017, but it didn't work either. I can't get rid of the message, so I have to kill the program. If I do, I get the message "An integer between 96 and 0 is required. And I can't open the Performance tab in the Preferences. It starts up and I can open pictures, but I can't edit the picture in any way. And now Photoshop will not work properly.

During last night, Windows Update installed some stuff and rebooted the computer. Got this problem ("integer between 96 and 0") today using the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 (v 19.01). I'd love to hear if somebody finds a soulution! Integrated Video Processor: Intel HD Graphics 630 (not really relevant, as it's not in use with PS) I'm currently running Windows 10 1709, however I also had issues with Windows 10 1706.ĬPU: i7-7700HQ 2801 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 threads Like other comments here, the prefs file cannot be reset to default in PhotoShop, and I get the exact same error as others when trying to access my Performance settings. I haven't been able to figure out where exactly this problem lies, however I tried looking around for potential corruption in the registry, despite I can't spot any errors of what I know of.

I've tried to manually remove any Photoshop-related files the CC installer missed, but it turns out it's a general installation falure or driver problem. Performance settings cannot be read or accessed by PhotoShop, and Photoshop is stuck with a memory limit of 8 MB. I've been getting this exact same problem after the release of PS 2018.
